Our spirulina powder is certified organic (to USA standards), high quality, and tested and confirmed free of harmful bacteria or harmful levels of heavy metals. It is farmed in controlled environments in concrete tanks, it is not harvested from lakes.

Spirulina is the powdered form of Arthrospira platensis, a blue-green algae that is rich in protein, fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. Spirulina supports healthy skin, a healthy metabolism, lung function, gut and the immune system. There have been field trials in horses (Kellon, 2004). These spirulina tablets are palatable and readily accepted by most horses and ponies.

Ingredients: >99% Arthrospira platensis (Spirulina); <1% silica (enteric coating) to form 0.5g tablets.
