Description
Our essential amino acid supplement provides a concentrated blend of three essential amino acids: L-Lysine, L-Methionine and L-Threonine- at levels recommended by leading nutritionists*.
While most horses receive sufficient crude protein in their diets, these essential amino acids are known to be low in forage. Without these building blocks, the horse cannot fully utilise their dietary protein, so supplementing them breaks a metabolic bottleneck, providing the horse with sufficient nutrients to build a strong topline, healthy hooves and a shiny coat.
Formulated with natural carrot powder for palatability (the equivalent of ⅓ of a carrot in a 42 g scoop), this supplement is easy to add to your horse’s bucket feed. This formula is ideal for all horses.
Feeding guide (daily): pony (< 300kg) 21 g | horse (~ 500kg) 42 g | large horse (> 600kg) 63 g
